It’s always exciting for older children when a new baby comes into the family. Older brothers and sisters are so protective and gentle with a new baby, it’s lovely to see. Being able to capture that excitement and love for a new sibling is a really special part of my job as a photographer.
Having babies and older children in the studio definitely makes for a lively time! Getting the right shot takes patience and practice but it’s so much fun to do. It’s also nice for their parents and the rest of the extended family to have a snapshot of the children together at such a special time in their lives.
